Responsible Play
Have fun, but bid responsibly. We're here to help.
Our Commitment
Scandibid is designed for entertainment. We're committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable auction experience. We encourage all users to bid responsibly and stay in control.
Tips for Responsible Bidding
Set a Budget
Decide how much you're willing to spend on bids before you start. Stick to it.
Take Breaks
Don't get caught in the moment. Step away if you feel emotional.
Track Your Spending
Check your bid history regularly. Know what you've used.
Know When to Stop
If you're not winning, it's okay to walk away. Another auction awaits.
Warning Signs
Bidding may become problematic if:
- You're spending more than you can afford
- You're chasing losses
- You feel anxious or stressed while bidding
- You're hiding your bidding activity from others
- You've tried to stop but can't
Our Tools
We offer features to help you stay in control:
- Deposit limits: Set daily/weekly/monthly limits on bid purchases
- Reality checks: Get notifications about time spent bidding
- Self-exclusion: Temporarily or permanently block access to your account
- Spending insights: View your bid history and spending patterns
Contact support to enable these tools.
Self-Exclusion
If you need a break, you can self-exclude:
- Temporary: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months
- Permanent: Lifetime account closure
During self-exclusion, you cannot log in, bid, or purchase bids. At the end of the period, your account is reactivated automatically (temporary) or closed permanently.
